The Advanced Certificate Course is recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. In-depth lectures and discussions covering wines and spirits of the world are supplemented with slides and comprehensive tasting of more than 90 wines and spirits.
Successful candidates receive the internationally-recognized Advanced Certificate of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust of London, which is a prerequisite for the two-year Diploma Program. The final exam is comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions, short written answers, and a blind tasting of one wine.
There is no prerequisite for this course. However, WSET Level 2 or a comparable wine appreciation course is recommended. Please take our online quiz to find out if this level is right for you.

Students will be mailed the course textbook and study guide prior to the start of class. WSET recommends at least 56 hours of study time outside of class prior to the exam. Registration is required 11 business days prior to the exam date.
