The third annual Rendezvous with Riesling event, on May 15, 2009 from 7-10pm, is a center-wide celebration and tasting of New York’s signature wine varietal. Tour our state-of-the-art facility, taste Riesling and other wines from across New York State, sample foods that pair with Riesling and are grown or produced in New York State, and enjoy live music. An exclusive tasting of older-vintage Rieslings from the Finger Lakes will be presented in the educational theater that evening. Join a panel of three local wine experts for a special “Finger Lakes Library Rieslings” Class presentation and Riesling tasting from 7:45-8:45pm. Other classes and activities related to Riesling will take place throughout the month.
