Sommelier Prep: Practice Exam & Review

Join us for this unique opportunity to attend a series of classes on Monday evenings that are individual, yet linked together to help you prepare for the Introductory and Certified Sommelier exams offered through the Court of Master Sommeliers at NYWCC this fall. The dates for these CMS classes will be announced by the Court mid-summer, but is expected to be late October/early November.

This is an excellent development opportunity to help industry professionals and wine connoisseurs hone their skills in the three components of the Certified Exam: in-depth theory, preparation for blind wine tasting, and fine dining level service. In this class, we will present a practice exam, as well as a review on timed blind tasting, theory, and service.

Please note that these classes are also open to individuals who are only looking to increase their knowledge and awareness of the world of wines. They do not need to be attended in their entirety to benefit from them. Review classes will be offered each week in October.

Please contact our Front Desk or Tricia Renshaw, Director of Beverage Education for the Center, for any further questions you may have.
