In using the word "essential", we mean understanding the "essence" of a region, culture, and cuisine. This class celebrates the popular cooking styles and flavors from Italy. By learning how regional cultures and cuisines have developed, you will better appreciate what "local" means to you. We will discuss the ingredients and cooking essentials that are unique to this part of the world and use local produce to duplicate these favorites.
